Career in Journalism

Before Joining the Master’s programme in journalism, Dr. Itirani Samanta had been practising journalism as the Editor of ‘The Kadambini’ a monthly feature magazine. She used to write features on various social literal, cultural and socio political issues. Some of her features also publised in different news papers and magazines of the state. She has got the art of interviewing people and bring out different facets of their personalities. Since the begining of her journalistic career she has covered hundreds of people from different spheres and all works of life. Apart from the above she conducted many television shows as a Programe producer, content designer, interviewer and moderator
